If you trust your real estate agent…there’s no need for one
Where in NJ? In Northern NJ it is customary for both the buyer and seller to retain attorneys. In Southern NJ it is customary for the title company to handle the closing. Since you are out of state it might be best to have an attorney handle it for you regardless of the property location.
